This braised lamb dish is so easy & delish!

You know those times when you make dinner & think… “man I have got to write that down!” … Yep! That happened the other night! This dish was so delish that I seriously want to make it again right away.
I got all of the main ingredients from our local farmers market. The first step is to make sure that you have beef bone broth (Here is my recipe) … Next comes the most amazing braised lamb ever…

Braised Lamb

  • lamb chops or shoulder chops
  • Himalayan salt & fresh pepper to season
  • avocado oil
  • grass fed butter
  • olive oil
  • 2 c carrots peeled & rough cut… I like lots
  • 1 c celery rough cut
  • 2 bay leaves
  •  1 large onion rough cut
  • 3 cloves garlic smashed with knife
  • Rosemary fresh & chopped 1 tsp
  • bruchetta (Trader Joes in a jar) 1/2 jar
  • red wine (only good) 1/4-1/3 c
  • Beef bone broth to cover

Season lamb & sear it in a cast-iron skillet with avocado oil. Remove & place in crockpot. Add onions to cast-iron with 1-2 T butter cook a bit & get the brown bits off of the bottom of the pan. Add 2 T olive oil, carrots, celery, garlic, Rosemary & bay leaves, cook until semi-soft. & fragrant.

Add Veggies to the crockpot. Add 1/2 jar of TJ’s bruchetta, 1/4-1/3 c good red wine ( I like Malbec) ,beef bone broth to cover the lamb & veggies. Set to cook for about 6 hours….  Walk away….. ENJOY!

Love & Family Time, Celeste
